Ann Arbor-based growth equity firm Plymouth Growth recently made a multimillion-dollar investment in CloseSimple, a software platform that streamlines the real estate closing process. Varnum represented Plymouth Growth in all aspects of the deal, including negotiating the stock purchase agreement and all other legal documents. The Varnum team included Pete Roth, Matt Maltz and Matt Shina.
Based in Minnesota, CloseSimple is a high growth, digital platform that integrates communication in order to keep buyers, sellers, real estate agents and lenders informed during the real estate closing process.
Ann Arbor-based Plymouth Growth, currently in its fifth fund, invests in mid-continent business-to-business software and technology companies – with proven business models, rapid growth and strong teams – that are ready to scale.
“We’re excited about this investment and very pleased with the assistance of the Varnum team,” said Plymouth Growth Partner Jeff Barry. “We have worked with Varnum on numerous deals and continue to be impressed by their expertise, efficiency and solid understanding of our goals.”
