Varnum attorney Neil Youngdahl has been elected to serve a three-year term as a Council Member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Appellate Practice Section.
The Appellate Practice Section Council provides education, information and analysis on relevant appellate law issues through meetings, seminars, public service initiatives and more.
Youngdahl is a commercial litigator who specializes in appeals and regularly represents clients at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Michigan Court of Appeals, as well as other courts of appeals throughout the country. On appeal, he has successfully argued novel questions of state and federal law, multimillion-dollar commercial disputes and administrative law cases against federal agencies.
Additionally, Youngdahl serves as Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Federal Bar Association of the Western District of Michigan. He also mentors students at Alma College who are interested in pursuing a career in law.
