Varnum attorney Yvonne Kupfermann has been named to the Education and Programming Committee of the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan.
The foundation provides mental health awareness and education through programs and other resource for schools, communities, and businesses. The Education and Programming Committee develops curriculums for foundation programs such as the “Be Nice” campaign, created to raise mental health awareness and serve as an anti-bullying, suicide prevention initiative.
Kupfermann is a labor and employment attorney who focuses on employment and family-based immigration matters. She also works with clients on visa processing, waivers, DACA, and citizenship matters.
Kupfermann is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she studied psychology and political science and worked in a research lab that allowed her to attend and present at many national and regional conferences regarding mental health. She received her law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
