Varnum labor and employment attorney Maureen Rouse-Ayoub has been named to the Health and Human Resources Committee of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.
Rouse-Ayoub, who represents clients in all areas of labor and employment, has been active in the Michigan Chamber for many years, providing frequent educational and training programs for Chamber members. Her practice includes advising clients on labor management relations, defending employment-related claims and counseling clients on workforce policies.
The mission of the Health and Human Resources Committee is to provide a positive impact on the public policy debate over health care and human resources at the state and federal level by actively representing the interests of the business community in the legislative and regulatory process.
The committee is also responsible for development of policy proposals for approval by the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
