Berlin Named to Board of Child and Family Services of Southwestern Michigan

Varnum attorney Elliott Berlin was recently named to the board of Child and Family Services of Southwestern Michigan.

A nonprofit organization founded more than 130 years ago, CFSSMI serves people in Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties, providing day services for adults with special needs, a shelter for those affected by domestic violence and a guardianship program for individuals unable to care for themselves.

Berlin is a corporate attorney in Varnum’s Kalamazoo office, representing businesses on mergers and acquisitions, formation and structuring, corporate governance, contractual issues and a variety of general business matters. He also represents individuals, businesses and financial institutions in transactions involving commercial and residential real estate.

A graduate of Michigan State University College of Law and Western Michigan University, Berlin is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Kalamazoo County Bar Association, and a graduate of the Leadership Accelerator of Michigan’s Great Southwest Strategic Leadership Council.
