Varnum is pleased to announce that Christopher Miller, an experienced real estate attorney specializing in the condo/HOA industry, has joined Varnum’s Naples office.
Miller’s practice focuses on homeowners association and condominium association representation. He assists clients with a wide array of issues including rewriting or amending governing documents, reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts, dispute resolution and covenant enforcement actions. Miller has served as general counsel to over 100 associations, assisting in day-to-day operations and management.
In addition to his extensive experience in association law, Miller also has a background in contract law, insurance and workers’ compensation matters. His previous experience includes litigating contractual and civil disputes for employee leasing companies. Additionally, Miller formerly served in the State of Florida’s Division of Workers’ Compensation General Counsel’s Office for the Florida Department of Financial Services, which is where he started his legal career.
Miller is a graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree at The University of West Florida where he served on the school’s Supreme Court, a division of Student Government, and was the recipient of the Family Law Book Award.
