Varnum attorney Conor Boland has been elected to the St. Robert Catholic School Board of Directors in Ada, Michigan.
Established in 2018, St. Robert Catholic School provides faith-based education for children from preschool through sixth grade, fostering a love for learning through thoughtfully crafted programs.
Boland is a business and corporate attorney who advises private and family-owned businesses, family offices and private equity funds. He offers strategic legal guidance on a range of business law matters including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and general corporate counseling.
As part of his practice, Boland advises Michigan corporations, officers, directors and stockholders on governance issues. These include stockholder demand letters, breach of fiduciary duty claims, controlling stockholder transactions, minority stockholder oppression claims, special committee issues and activist stockholder campaigns.
Boland graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School and earned his undergraduate degree from the Catholic University of America. He is also an active member of Notre Dame Club of Grand Rapids and Catholic Lawyers Association of Western Michigan.
