Staci DeRegnaucourt Named to the 2025 World Trademark Review 1000

February 26, 2025

For the 11th consecutive year, Varnum intellectual property (IP) attorney Staci DeRegnaucourt has been named to the World Trademark Review (WTR) 1000, a research directory focusing exclusively on trademark practices and practitioners.

The WTR 1000 identifies the leading professionals and firms that are deemed outstanding at obtaining, protecting, managing, enforcing and monetizing trademarks. It is considered the leading resource for world-class legal trademark expertise for attorneys in private practice.

DeRegnaucourt is one of only seven Michigan attorneys with a Gold Ranking. The guide states that, “Varnum’s practice chair and IP all-rounder, Staci DeRegnaucourt, is celebrated for her sharp, strategic and global approach to IP. Prioritizing her clients, she crafts unique IP portfolios that secure valuable rights while driving commercialization, enforcement and revenue generation, safeguarding brands’ market edge.”

As chair of the Intellectual Property Practice Team, DeRegnaucourt provides a full range of intellectual property services including trademark, copyright and patent clearance, as well as procurement, licensing and enforcement. She also represents clients in IP litigation matters and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), the International Trade Commission (ITC) and United States courts.

In addition to her legal practice, DeRegnaucourt is a member of the International Trademark Association’s non-traditional trademarks committee and serves as an adjunct professor at Michigan State University College of Law, where she teaches courses in international intellectual property.
