Varnum partner Regan Gibson has been named to Notable Women in Law by Crain’s Grand Rapids Business. The feature recognizes top women in the legal profession in West Michigan, based on their career accomplishments, track record of success, contributions to their community and mentorship of others.
Gibson is a partner in Varnum’s litigation and trial practice, representing clients in a variety of civil and criminal litigation matters and internal investigations. Her work ranges from the representation of developers and property owners in real estate and zoning disputes to high-profile matters such as Flint water crisis litigation and the independent investigation into the Oxford High School shooting.
Within the community, Gibson is involved with Michigan Center for Civic Education, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing an active and informed citizenry through law-related and civic education in Michigan. She also serves on the board of H.O.P.E. Gardens, a nonprofit dedicated to addressing food insecurity by educating students on the benefits of regenerative gardening and growing food. Gibson is also currently participating in Leadership Grand Rapids, Class of 2024.
Gibson was profiled along with other members of Crain’s Notable Women in Law in the February 19 edition of Crain’s Grand Rapids Business.
