Varnum LLP recently represented Cole’s Quality Foods, Inc. (Cole’s) in its sale to Ontario-based Furlani Foods.
Founded in West Michigan in 1943, Cole’s is famous for its frozen garlic bread and other frozen bread products and has thrived in the industry, selling its products at leading retailers across the U.S. The acquisition by Furlani Foods is expected to drive efficiency and innovation in product offerings to benefit customers.
Varnum’s full-service deal team was led by Michael Wooldridge and Chris George, and included Lauren Parker, Conor Boland, Tim Gordon, Zach Meyer, Luis Avila, Charles Russman, Staci DeRegnaucourt, Matthew Eugster, Linsey Gleason, Steven Morren and Shawn Strand.
