Attorney

Schuyler is an associate attorney, focusing his practice on business and transactional matters. He helps clients navigate mergers and acquisitions, advises emerging companies and works with private and family-owned businesses to provide strategic and practical legal advice on a myriad of business law issues. His practice also includes providing guidance on corporate governance and structuring issues, securities law compliance and other regulatory issues.

Prior to joining Varnum, Schuyler gained experience in legal and public sectors. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern in the Office of Administrative Law Judges at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Schuyler was also a member of the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy and participated in both the Environmental and Appellate Advocacy Clinics where he gained advocacy experience representing clients in state and federal appellate courts. Before law school, he served as an AmeriCorps volunteer with a statewide nonprofit focused on higher education persistence and completion in Michigan.
